The ever so popular Instagram automation tool Mass Planner, has been shown the door by Instagram. Last night, Mass Planner sent out a newsletter telling their customers that their services will no longer be provided because Instagram has shut them down.
Here is a screen shot of the email in it’s entirety.
It seems Instagram is battening down the hatches and sailing full speed ahead on closing down as many automation service providers as they can. We recently heard about Instagress coming to an abrupt end last week.
Sad news to all of you who fell in love with Instagress: by request of Instagram we’ve closed our web-service that helped you so much. pic.twitter.com/sIRYfFVywX

We can only imagine the fear mongering e-mail that is being sent to these service providers by Instagram’s lawyers.
While we understand where Instagram is coming from in part by wanting to keep the community clean of spam and abuse, we also feel the pain for those trying to run business accounts.
Another sad day for content management folks, but there are always new services popping up that will take the spotlight. The question is… how long will they last?
